At TTS we understand that accurate testing and/or analysis can only be achieved with knowledge and understanding of the inputs the product is subjected too. This is valid whether it is a complex sub-assembly, complete vehicle or even just a simple bracket or fastener.
Testing of product is the final piece of the puzzle in understanding it's capabilities. TTS can assist in this discipline as well. We have test engineers that are ready to listen to your test requirements and guide you through the test programme. We have an array of test facilities on site to give quick and accurate test results. TTS offer very competitive rates for any length of test programme, please call us for further details or prices.
We specialise in the testing of WCAC (water charge air coolers) for a variety of manufacturers. This requires coolant and air conditioning of the unit under test plus elevated temperatures of the surrounding environment, and of course vibration to simulate mounting conditions.

Servo Hydraulic Testing
We have a large range of actuators up to a dynamic force capacity of 100kN and displacement to 200mm. The control hardware for the servo valves is either Instron or MTS controllers with relevant software. All load and displacements are fully calibrated and traceable.
TTS have invested in custom-made heavy duty frames so tests can be quickly set-up in minimal time and cost to our customers. We are also happy to run the tests 24 hours 7 days a week to produce results quickly and efficiently.

Vibration Testing
TTS has recently expanded its test facilities and can now offer vibration and shock testing using our LDS shakers.
The shakers are complimented by our climatic chamber which allows us to perform many aspects of HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Test).
Our shakers can be quickly configured to accept our customers components and the latest LDS Dactron Laser and Comet controllers allows fast test set-up at minimal cost.
We are also happy to run the tests 24 hours 7 days a week to produce results quickly and efficiently.

Climatic Testing
TTS have a range of chambers and equipment that can perform a variety of the most common climatic and environmental tests.

Two off Tenney rapid rate change temperature only chambers. Approx. 8C/min cooling and heating. Internal volume of 150L

Two off temperature and humidity chambers, one can be used in conjunction with the EM shakers. Temperature range of -65C to +180C. Volume of 225L or 350L.

Thermal shock chamber (-65C to +150C in 5 secs). Volume of 64L

3D Printed Parts Testing
With the explosion in 3D printing and its uses beyond just prototype and sample parts how can engineers ensure the parts are fit for purpose? At TTS we have been testing 3D parts for a number of customers to do just that. Strength, durability, environmental testing can all be performed on printed parts.
Tensile Testing
TTS can now offer tensile and compressive testing on a variety of materials. We have the capability of testing from 1 to 50,000N using a variety of grips, platens or friction tables. We can include extensometers in any test if needed. Be-spoke test fixtures can also be manufactured for irregular samples. Full graphical reports or simple tables of results can be produced.
